Sparky von Schultz is a huge, very handsome 5 year old German Shepherd. We're not sure why someone named him Sparky, but it just doesn't seem to be the right name for a 100+ pound big boy like him. He is a nice dog and if you're looking for a buddy to throw the ball with, he will be the perfect match for you. He does well with most dogs but would do best with a female canine companion in a new home. His coat is thick and soft, and well taken care of. Sparky was adopted from us about a year ago but the family hit on hard times and can no longer keep him.

Sparky according to his family:

He's a very obedient boy. He walks great on a leash, staying right next to us. He loves to play outside with frisbees and especially balls. If you throw him the ball, he'll run to catch it and bring it back to you to play again. He can do this for hours. He loves to run too. My kids have lots of fun running with him. He's not a hyper dog, but does need lots of play time and an outside area to play in. He takes a while to open up to you, but once he does, he's very loving. He likes to put his head on your lap as you sit on the couch watching tv.
